摘  要:针对传统单周期超窄脉冲发生器存在脉冲振铃大、拖尾长、对称性差以及与天线匹配特性不好导致波形失真而影响系统性能的问题,提出了宽带匹配的低失真单周期超窄脉冲发生器。该发生器由阶跃恢复二极管产生下降沿锐化的高斯脉冲后,利用肖特基二极管压制高斯脉冲的振荡以抑制振铃,采用微带滤波器对整形后的高斯脉冲高通滤波并保证输出端口的宽带匹配特性以消除拖尾。实测结果表明,所设计发生器能够产生峰峰值为7.64V,脉宽小于500ps且无拖尾,振铃小于10%、对称性为90%的单周期超窄脉冲,从而在保证波形质量的前提下提高了脉冲幅度,设计简单、低成本的特点使其具有较高的工程价值。A wide-band matched low distortion ultra-short monocycle pulse generator was proposed to conquer the high ringing,long trailing,poor pulse symmetry and deteriorate of the system performance because of mismatch with antenna.Firstly,a SRD was used as a waveform edge sharpener to generate a fast falling edge Gaussian-like pulse.Then a schottky was employed to suppress the rounding of the Gaussian-like pulse to minimum the ringing.Meanwhile,the trailing was eliminated with the formed Gaussian-like pulse highpass-filtered by a microstrip filter to ensure the wide-band matching of the output port.The measured results showed that the output waveform of the generator had 7.64 Vpeak-to-peak amplitude,less than 500 ps pulse duration with no trailing,10% of the ringing level and 90% symmetry.So the pulse amplitude increased without the waveform quality loss.
