中国本土早已失传的玄奘图像

摘　　要：由于历史变革的诸多原因,无论是在中国古文献记载里,还是在中国现存图像中,描写玄奘生平故事的一些绘画作品,在中国本土早已失传了,但在日本的某些美术馆、博物馆或寺院的收藏品里往往可以见到。今选出两幅作品介绍给中国同好及广大读者并略加评论,一是"玄奘梦游须弥山图",另一幅是"玄奘巡礼天竺圣迹图"。它们都出自日本镰仓时代的《玄奘三藏绘》长卷。这两幅画的名字,系为叙述方便笔者所加,特先说明。Because of historical revolutions and other causes, paintings depicting the life of Xuanzang in either extant historical records or image materials like wall paintings have been lost for a long time, though such material still exists in the collections of some art galleries, museums, and temples in Japan. This paper will introduce and briefly comment on two such paintings, ＂Xuanzang Sightseeing Mount Sumeru in his Dream＂ and ＂Xuanzang Visiting Buddhist Sacred Sites in India.＂ Both paintings derive from the long rolls of Paintings of Xuanzang from the Kamakura period in Japan. The two tides here are given not by the original paintings but by the author, to facilitate the introduction and commentary of the works.
