摘　　要：Conversation plays an essential and important role in people's daily activities. Conversational implicature is the most basic element in the process of communication and is one of the core concepts in pragmatics. Only if one knows the conversational implicature in the discourse could the communication smoothly move on. Otherwise, it would be difficult to continue.Thus, this paper aims to contribute on the knowledge of the analysis of conversational implicature through making a detailed analysis on Grice's theory of conversational implicature and to help people appropriately use this theory in conversations so as to avoiding unnecessary misunderstanding. It also reveals some limitations of conversational implicature.Conversation plays an essential and important role in people＇s daily activities.
