摘　　要：美国大学学术项目撤销方法和模型经历了一系列转变。依据不同的理论基础和决策动因,美国大学学术项目撤销模型包括成本模型、质量模型、市场模型、聘用模型、政治模型、学术模型、综合模型等。每个模型的理论假设和出发点不同,适用于不同层次、不同背景的学术项目重组。研究美国大学学术项目撤销机制和模型可以为中国学位点自我评估和随机评估提供有益参考。The methods and models of program discontinuance in American universities have undergone a series of changes. Different theoretical bases and decision-making strategies generate diverse program dis- continuance models, including cost model, quality model, market model, employment model, political mod- el, academic model and integrated model, etc. According to dift^rent theoretical hypotheses and starting points, models are applied to program discontinuance and reorganization under certain circumstances. Stud- ying the mechanisms and models of program discontinuance in American universities may provide a useful reference for the self-assessment and random evaluation of academic programs in China.
