社工的一生:吴桢对民国时期及改革开放后社会工作专业的贡献

摘　　要：吴桢先生作为民国时期较早的专业社会工作者和教育者,曾在协和医院社会服务部工作多年,抗战初参加"伤兵医院"的社会服务,后到重庆中央卫生实验院任社会工作室主任,又至华西大学、金陵女子文理学院、金陵大学社会行政系任教,期间撰文宣传医院社会工作,译介西方最新专业书籍,并初步探索了社会工作本土化之路。改革开放后,吴桢担任江苏省社会学会会长,重视社会学研究的应用价值,积极研究当代犯罪社会问题,最早系统宣讲社会工作理念与方法,为我国社会工作的学科重建和专业教育发挥了重要作用。As the pioneer of professional social work and educator in China,Mr. Wu Zhen worked in the Social Service Department of PCMA for many years,provided service for the wounded soldiers in hospital after the outbreak of anti-Japanese war,and then directed the social work studio at the Central Health Laboratory in Chongqing. Afterwards Wu Zhen became a teacher with West China Union University,and then Jinling Women＇s college,and then Jinling University. During that time,Wu Zhen not only wrote articles to propagate professional medical social work,but also translated the newest Western professional books and began to explore the localization of social work in China. After the reform and opening up,Wu Zhen played an important role in the reconstruction of professional social work by emphasizing the applied sociology,researching on the criminal sociology and advancing the theories and methods of social work.
