摘 要:本文作者重读中国西方语言文化大师李赋宁先生的论著,提出李赋宁先生外语教学思想中有如下几条重要的原则:1)外语教育家也应是博古通今的人文学者及外语教学理论的实践者;2)外语学习者必须首先有本族语的文化自信,在学好本族语言和本族文化的基础上方能有效地形成外语技能和外语思维能力;3)语言是一个有机的系统,学习外语要自上而下,建立系统的观念和学习视野;4)用分析和综合的方法进行大量的外语阅读是学好外语的关键,也是锻炼扎实的外语写作能力的先决条件;5)充分注重笔头练习,使外语的能力准确地落实到写作中去;6)良好的翻译能力是一种掌握"语言炼金炉"的能力,表现在译者吃透原文后能够综合应用优美地道的母语传达原文的思想、意境和气韵。在外语学习日趋数字信息化,人工智能与机器翻译都有长足进步的今天,李赋宁先生的这些外语教学思想对我国的外语学习仍具有根本的实践指导意义。This essay rereads the representative works of the late Professor western language and cultural studies in China. It proposes the following study principles: a) a quali-fied foreign language educator must also be an erudite scholar of humanitieshis preach; b) a learner good foreign language proficiency and critical thinceed from the sound command of his native language and culture; c) language is an organic wholwhich rewards a learner most with systematic viewof its verbal totality; d) a good learlanguage is also a voracious reader who, by close analysis and synthesis of the text,achieves verbal exactness in writing; e) all learning skills effect the writing skill in aforeign lantranslator is in fact an “alchemist” who possesses the original and faithfully turns out his mixture withverbal beauty in his/her own tongue. These guidelines, weighed and considered, may well tran-scend the cybernetic, corporbased and Al-assisted learning models of today.
