摘　　要：本文阐述了法律文献资源的特点和法律文本特征,法律文献按照效力分为原始法律资源和二次法律资源。Westlaw Next数据库涵盖了美国、英国、欧盟、加拿大、香港等地的法律资料、多种法学期刊、多种商业、财务和新闻的期刊及其他资料。本文对Westlaw Next数据库的功能特色进行了介绍,分别对法律信息资源中法律文本的检索、英文案例、法律期刊的检索技巧进行了详细地介绍,方便学习者和研究者有效利用Westlaw Next数据库。This paper expounds the characteristics of legal literature resources and the characteristics of legal texts,and the legal documents are divided into original legal resources and two legal resources according to their effectiveness. The Westlaw Next database covers the United States,the United Kingdom,the EU,Canada,Hongkong and other places of legal information,a variety of legal journals,a variety of commercial,financial and news journals and other information. This paper introduces the functions and features of the Westlaw Next database,and introduces the retrieval of legal text in legal information resources,English cases,and the retrieval techniques of the legal periodicals. It is convenient for the learners and researchers to use the Westlaw Next database effectively.
