Objective: To investigate the mediating effect of impulsivity between depression and aggression in Adolescents with Conduct Disorder. Methods: 45 conduct disorders and 63 healthy control(HC) groups were investigated using the Center for Epidemiologic Studies Depression Scale(CES-D), the Aggression Questionnaire(AQ),the Barratt Impulsiveness Scale 11 th version(BIS-11). Results: ANCOVA showed that depression, impulsivity and aggression were higher in CD patients compared to HC. Correlation analysis showed depression, impulsivity and aggression were correlated with each other positively and significantly in CD patients.Pathway analysis showed that the impulsivity fully mediated the effect of depression symptoms on the aggression in CD patients, but not in HC group. Conclusion: This study highlights the importance of the mediating effect of impulsiveness on the influence of depression symptoms on CD aggression.
