摘　　要：美国存在心理学之父、存在主义精神分析学家罗洛·梅的《祈望神话》一书,对神话与神话主义研究有一定的启示。"神话"是神圣叙事,旨在帮助人超越世俗,实现神圣化的存在。而"神话主义"则是现代人对神话的一种实践,也是现代人祈望神话的一种表现。人对神话的需求,是神话及神话主义的心理动力。神话主义的心理机制正是发挥神话功能的过程。神话与神话主义有各自的研究取向。神话的神圣性是用神话最核心、最普遍的特质,来区分神话与其他民间叙事文类,区分神话与神话主义现象的关键要素。This is a brief review of Rollo May’s The cry for myth as a revelation to the study of myth and mythologism.“Myth” is a sacred narrative.It aims to help people transcend the secular world and realize the existence of sanctification.“Mythologism” is a modern practice of myth,which is the weakening of sanctity.For this reason,mythologism is also a manifestation of modern people’s desire for myths.People’s need for myths is the psychological motivation of myth and mythologism.The psychological mechanism of the mythologism is the psychological process of giving full play to the function of myth.Myth and mythologism have their own research orientations.The sacredness of myth is the key factor to distinguish myth from other kinds of folk narration and the phenomenon of mythologism and theocracy by the most core and most common characteristics of myth.
