摘  要:确定西部干旱区陆地生态系统土壤有机碳的储量、空间分布,对我国碳沉降和碳循环的研究具有重要意义。根据中国第一次和第二次土壤普查得到的西部干旱区土壤各类型分布面积、采样数据、土壤有机质含量等土壤剖面数据,运用GIS技术与生态位模型Max Ent来估算土壤碳密度及碳库,经过计算西部干旱区陆地生态系统土壤有机碳总量为122.66×10~8Mg C(1Mg C=10~6g C),平均土壤有机碳密度为4.86kg C/m^2。西部干旱区土壤有机碳储量约占中国陆地生态系统土壤有机碳碳库总量的12.24%,这表明中国西部干旱区土壤是一个巨大的碳库。分析表明土壤有机碳与土壤湿度、气温等环境梯度变化呈现规律性显著相关。分析表明绿洲农业开发、土地利用及其管理等对西部干旱区土壤有机碳库产生了深刻影响。Estimation of the spatial distribution of soil organic carbon( SOC) will provide a scientific basis for assessing the magnitude of management practices on soil carbon storage in regulating carbon sequestration of arid Western China. The total organic carbon stock in soils of arid western China was estimated by using the national soil survey database based on GIS and Maximum Entropy Model. The results showed that the average SOC density is 4. 86 kg C/m^2,the land area in arid Western China is about 28. 754% of nation and the SOC storage is122. 66 × 10^8 Mg C,constituting about 12. 24% of the total soil organic carbon pool in China. It indicates that the soil organic carbon storage of arid western China has vital role in China. The spatial heterogeneity of SOC presents a regular and strong spatial distribution along the environmental gradient,and varies widely across arid Western China. Alpine forests and meadows contain high SOC stocks in the Alty,Tienshan,Kunlun,Qilian mountains and north-east Qing-Tibet plateau,and which is lower in the inland deserts and Gobi. The effect of land use change or conversions on the SOC storage is also discussed. The results will provide valuable references for sustainable use and suitable mangentment of the limited soil resources in Arid Western China
