According to the relationship between loquat growth and meteorological conditions, the climatic ecological division indices were defined for loquat planting, and the multiple regression models of various division indices were established by using the longitude, latitude and altitude as variables. These indices were refinedly gridded by the mixed interpolation method, the division evaluation model was established by using the weighted index sum method, and the refined division map for loquat planting was drawn by GIS technology. The results showed that: the areas suitable for loquat planting were mainly distributed in the eastern plain of Hangzhou, and accounted for 16.26% of the evaluated area; the sub-suitable areas accounted for 16.27%,and were distributed chiefly in the Hang-Jia-Hu plain of northeastern Hangzhou and the low hilly area along the Fuchun River; the unsuitable areas accounted for about 70%,which were distributed in mountain area of western Hangzhou.
