摘　　要：文章针对保幼激素类似物烯虫酯(methoprene)的发现和发展历程进行简要概述,并进一步阐述保幼激素作为生物杀虫剂的作用机制。从公共卫生角度介绍烯虫酯在蚊虫控制方面的应用,从对环境影响角度论述烯虫酯的生物安全性,同时展望昆虫保幼激素类似物烯虫酯在公共环境中的应用前景。A brief overview is presented of the discovery and development of methoprene. The mechanism of juvenile hormone as biological insecticide is described in insect growth stage. The application of methoprene in mosquito control is expounded from the perspective of public health,and the biosafety of it elucidated from the perspective of environmental impact. Further,the application prospect of the methoprene is projected.
