摘　　要：专利是衡量某领域技术创新活动的重要指标。当前,我国工程企业处在转型发展的关键时期,面临专利布局与管理策略方面的挑战。选取苯乙烯生产技术为例,通过对相关专利信息进行收集与分析,总结出该技术领域的研究现状和发展趋势,进一步了解国外化工公司的专利布局策略,为我国的化工企业特别是工程公司提供一定借鉴和建议。Patent is an important index to judge technical innovations in industrial fields. Currently, the engineering enterprises in China are in crucial stage in challenges of patent application scope and management strategy. In this article, exampled with the technology used in styrene production, based on the analysis of collected relevant information, the current situation and developing trends in this field were summarized. Thus patent application scope in abroad can be well understood, which may be referenced by chemical enterprises, especially by engineering corporations, at home.
