摘　　要：China＇s Ministry of Education recently released the 2017 Bulletin of Statistics on National Education Development. The bulletin indicated China had 513,800 schools （at various levels） last year, an increase of 2,105 schools over the previous year. The bulletin also indicated the schools enrolled a combined 270 million students, or 5,455,400 more students than in the previous year.
