摘　　要：指出了湖北紫荆是具有极佳观赏价值的优良乡土树种,在园林绿化中四季兼有景赏,湖北紫荆是理想的城市观叶观花的行道树。从湖北紫荆的生态习性和生态美学功能,园林应用前景及应用现状等方面进行了介绍,提出了应用建议,以供参考。Cercisglabra is an excellent native tree species with excellent ornamental value. Its scenery is enjoyed in the four seasons. So, it is an ideal street tree for viewing foliage and flowers. This paper introducesthe ecological habits and ecological aesthetic functions of Cercisglabra. It also introducesthe prospect of garden application and the suggestions of its present situation.
