论加拿大魔幻现实主义文学主题——以扬·马特尔的奇书《少年Pi的奇幻漂流》为例

摘　　要：21世纪加拿大呈现信仰多元化,文学也从不同的侧面反映这一主题。加拿大作家扬·马特尔的奇书《少年Pi的奇幻漂流》自问世以来,就引起轰动,好评如潮,并最终获得了2002年度的英国布克奖。关于这本书的定位,文学界莫衷一是,或认为是历险传奇类,或认为是自传类。无论其类别归属之争最终结局如何,有一点是毋庸置疑的:在叙事上,扬·马特尔采用的是魔幻现实主义的手法,用魔幻现实主义的叙事深度阐释加拿大的社会现象和信仰多元化,并且从另一个角度演绎了加拿大文学中的"求生"主题。In the 21 st century,Canadian literature presented a diversity of beliefs,which was reflected by literary creation from different aspects.The fantastic novel Life of Pi by Canadian writer Yann Martel has been a sensation since its publication and was awarded the British Booker Prize in 2002.There is no consensus in the literary world about the book＇s categorization,either as an adventure legend or as an autobiography.Whatever the final outcome of the category fight,there is one thing beyond question：in narrative,Yann Martel uses magic realistic way of narration to explain the social phenomena and diversified beliefs in Canada.Besides,the theme of＂survival＂in Canadian literature is presented from another angle.
