摘　　要：萧公弼是中国近代美学史上的重要人物,为"美学在中国"的传播与建立做出了独到的贡献。随着他的著作被发现与公开,学界对他的美学思想进行了一定的研究,也给予了他在近代美学史上应有的地位。但迄今为止,萧公弼的里籍、生平、著述等情况依然知之甚少。经考证,萧公弼(1896—1918),四川绵竹(今四川德阳绵竹市)人,曾就读于四川大学前身之一的四川工业专门学校,与彭举等人在成都创办《世界观杂志》,代表作有《美学》《广告诗之审美者》《释我》《〈易〉为中国之灵魂学》《科学国学并重论》等,涉及美学、哲学、文化以及经世致用等多个领域。萧氏其人其著的发现,不仅有利于他的学术思想的深入研究,还为中国近代美学史和巴蜀美学史研究提供了新材料。Xiao Gongbi, an important scholar in the modern history of Chinese aesthetics, has made a unique contribution to the transmission and establishment of aesthetics in China. Along with the discovery of some of his writings, his aesthetic thoughts more or less have been studied and his academic position acknowledged. However, his personal information, such as native place, life story and writings, etc. has remained unknown to the society. According to the research, it can be found that Xiao Gongbi （1896 - 1918 ）, born in Mianzhu of Sichuan, studied in Sichuan Specialized Industrial School, which was one of the predecessors of Sichuan University. Together with Peng Ju and other people, he started World Outlook Magazine and his representative writings included Aesthetics ,Aesthetic Subject of Advertising Poetry ,An Interpretation on My Self, The Cryptopsychism in the Book of Changes, On the Equal Importance of Science and Chinese Classics, and so on, in- volving in a variety of academic fields, such as aesthetics, philosophy, culture and pragmatism. The discovery of Xiao Gongbi＇ s writings not only helps to study his academic thoughts, but also provides source material to the modern history of Chinese aesthetics and the history of Bashu Aesthetics.
