贵州简称“黔”与侗水语支民族的自称

摘　　要："黔"作为贵州简称的来源,确实可以追溯到战国时期楚国的黔中地区。贵州简称"黔"源于"当地百姓脸色黑"或"当地百姓戴黑色头巾"的说法缺乏依据。"黔"字的古音:[ɡǐ藜m]。"黔中"这一地名的命名与侗水语支的先民有关,其中的"黔"字很可能是其自称[kam55]的音译。Qian,as the source of the abbreviation of Guizhou Province,can be traced back to the Qianzhong county in the Warring States period.There is a lack of evidence for the statement that Guizhou＇s abbreviation ＇Qian＇ stems from ＇the local people＇s face is black＇ or ＇local people wear black headscarves＇.The ancient sound of ＇Qian＇ is [ɡǐ藜m].The name of＇Qianzhong＇ is related to the ancestors of the Kam-sui people,and the Chinese character ＇Qian＇ is probably the transliteration of [kam55].
