摘　　要：美国国家科学基金会作为美国联邦政府资助基础研究的专门机构,多年来一直十分重视量子信息相关领域的研究,近年来连续推出项目措施推动量子信息的发展。本文主要梳理该基金会支持量子研究的整体情况和近年来的新举措,为我国制定量子信息发展战略和路线图提供参考。As the major federal budget source for basic research, the National Science Foundation （NSF）of the U.S. has been supporting quantum related research for decades, and has issued a series of new measures and programs to advance its development. This paper depicts the general picture of NSF’s effort in quantum information science as well as its most recent endeavors, in a bid to provide references for the formulation of strategic plan and policies in China.
