摘　　要：为视障读者提供均等、无障碍的公共文化服务是公共图书馆自身的职责所在、使命使然。本文旨在通过近几年来山西省图书馆在文化助盲服务中的探索与实践,彰显创新视障服务在图书馆工作中的必要性和重要意义。Providing equal and accessible public cultural service to the visually impaired reader is the inevitable mission of the public library. This paper tries to show the significance of the innovative of public library＇ s service for the visually impaired people through introducing research and practice of the service mentioned above in Shanxi Library in the past few years.
