摘　　要：长期以来,公共图书馆在运行过程中,面对读者借阅图书超过使用期限的情况,都会收取一定的费用。关于这笔费用存在着诸多解释,例如:"延期使用费""超期罚款""违约金"等。2018年1月1日,《中华人民共和国公共图书馆法》正式实施以后,客观上对公共图书馆具体工作的合法性提出了更高的要求。本文希望通过停止收取图书延期使用费这一事件及其后续影响,通过讨论,将更多的法治思维引入公共图书馆的实际工作中。For a long time, in the course of running public libraries, readers are charged a certain amount of fees in case they keep the borrowed books exceeding the prescibed date. There are many explanations regarding this fee, such as： ＂deferred -use fees＂, ＂extended fines＂, ＂liquidated damages＂, etc. On January 1,2018, after the of- ficial implementation of the Law of the People＇s Republic of China on Public Libraries, objectively, ments are placed on the legality of the specific work of public libraries.
