摘  要:谷子(Setaria italic)是中国北方地区重要的粮食作物之一,然而谷子种植面积逐年下降,其中一个重要原因就是鸟害。谷子长刚毛有减轻和防止鸟害的作用,因此谷子长刚毛基因的研究,对提高谷子产量,扩大谷子的生产有重要的意义。本研究以长刚毛的谷子品种‘毛毛谷’、短刚毛的‘晋谷21’及其杂交一代为研究材料,对长刚毛基因进行克隆和表达分析。RT-PCR结果显示,控制谷子长刚毛的基因bHLH转录因子(Seita.1G316900),在毛毛谷和杂交一代幼穗中的表达量显著高于在‘晋谷21’中的表达量。该研究为全面解析调控谷子刚毛发育的机制提供基础,为提高谷子产量和防治鸟害发生都有着重要的意义。Foxtail millet(Setaria italic) is one of the most important food crops in the Northern China. However,the planting area of millet is decreasing year by year and one of the important reasons is birds feeding. The long bristle of millet has the effect of reducing and preventing bird feeding, so the study of the long bristle gene of the millet is of great significance to raising the grain yield and expanding the production of the millet. In this study, the long bristle millet 'Maomaogu', the short bristle millet 'Jingu21' and the F1 hybrids were used as materials to clone and analyze the expression of the gene related to the bristle length. RT-PCR analysis showed the expression of bHLH transcription factor(Seita.1 G316900) in 'Maomaogu' and the F1 hybrid was higher than that in 'Jingu21'. This study provided a basis for comprehensively analyzing the mechanism of regulating the development of millet bristles, and had important significance for improving millet yield and controlling bird feeding.
