(Time Up and Go Test,TUGT),6 m步行测试与三姿平衡测试下肢功能活动情况。 Objective To explore the effects of long-term Tai ji training on the static balance, proprioception and functional activities of elderly women. Methods A prospective study was conducted on 10 elderly females with tai chi exercise in their daily lives, 10 elderly women without exercise habits, and 10 ordinary female college students (non-sports students) with no exercise habits. The Technobody PK254 balance test and training system was used to evaluate the static balance and proprioception. The lower limb function activity were tested by commonly used Five Times Sit-to-Stand Test (FTSST), Time Up and Go Test (TUGT), 6 m walk test and three posture balance test. Results The static movement ellipse area and dynamic mean trajectory of older women who performed Taijiquan for a long time were significantly better than those of elderly women without exercise habit (left: t=3.684, P=0.003; right: t=4.812, P=0.001 ); compared with the female college students, the difference was not statistically significant. In the lower limb function test, the difference between the elderly female Tai Chi exercise group and the elderly women without exercise habits was statistically significant (FTSST test: t=2.435, P=0.026; TUGT test: t=4.050, P〈0.01; 6 m normal speed: t=9.015, P〈0.01; 6 m fast: t=7.208, P〈0.01). Conclusion Through long-term practice of Tai Chi, it may be of positive significance for the improvement and improvement of the balance and functional activities of the lower limbs of older women. Conclusion Long- term Tai Chi practice may have positive effects on the improvement of the balance and functional activities of the lower limbs of older women.
