大学英语考试中写作提示类型对学习者写作表现的影响研究

摘　　要：本研究以60名本科生的240篇大学英语四级写作的文本为研究语料,采用文本处理工具Coh-Metrix 3.0进行分析,考察了四个写作任务中四种提示类型(中文提纲提示、图画提示、图表提示和情景提示)对学生写作的文本特征及表现的影响。数据分析结果显示:1)提示特征影响学生的整体写作; 2)提示类型影响学习者写作的文本特征; 3)通过相关分析和线性回归分析,归纳得出写作文本的长度、词汇多样性和句法复杂性中多个指标对写作得分有预测力。本研究的发现对大学英语四级写作测试效度及写作教学具有一定的启示意义。Using 240 compositions of 60 undergraduates as the research corpus, this article adopts textual analysistool Coh-Metrix 3. 0 to investigate the effects of four prompt types （ a Chinese outline prompt, a picture prompt, achart prompt and a situation prompt） on the performance and textual features of students＇s writing. Data analysis re-veals that： 1）prompt characteristics influence students＇s writing quality in general; 2） prompt types affect the textualfeatures of learners＇s writing; 3）through correlation analysis and linear regression analysis, the result shows that lengthof texts, lexical diversity and syntactic complexity have predictive powers on writing scores. The findings of this studyhave implications for writing test validity of CET4 and writing teaching.
