摘 要:壁画是人类最早的艺术实践活动之一,它形象地记录了当时所处时代的精神文化和生活习俗乃至政治、经济、军事生态等。在鄂尔多斯地区考古发现的墓室壁画同样是研究鄂尔多斯乃至北方游牧文化区域的社会历史、文化思想,信仰习俗特别是经济形态以及绘画艺术等弥足珍贵的形象化史料。同时有限的史料及考古成果也呈现出鄂尔多斯地区古代墓室壁画图像特征及绘画艺术深入研究的线索。准确地把握其特点及其规律,对于系统的探索北方民族区域古代墓室壁画的艺术特征及历史文化具有重要意义。Mural paintings were one of the earliest human artistic expressions, they vividly recorded the culture, livelihood, and even politics, trade and military actions of their times. The mural paintings discovered in historical tomb chambers in Ordos, therefore, are precious artifacts that can shed light on Ordos history and, potentially on Northern nomadic history in terms of their sociology, culture, belief systems and trade. We can avail ourselves with available historical data and archeological findings on said mural paintings to ascertain their distinct artistic characteristics and painting techniques. To be able to grasp their traits and patterns accurately, is most paramount to the systematic study of mural paintings in historical tomb chambers in the Northern nomadic region.
