Many factors make influence on the hazard effect of blasting vibration with the characteristics of uncertainty. Based on the cloud model theory,a cloud model evaluation model of blasting vibration impact on buildings is established. Six parameters are selected as main influencing factors as the evaluation indicators, including peak vibration velocity, main vibration frequency, duration, building structure type, building age and site conditions. The cloud model's numerical characteristics of each index belonging to different blasting vibration impact degree levels are calculated. Combined the positive normal cloud model with index weights, the comprehensive certainty of the object is calculated, and the blasting vibration impact grade is finally determined. This method is applied to the evaluation of the impact of blasting vibration on the surrounding residential houses on a slope of Hua' an Expressway in Guizhou Province. The evaluation results of cloud model are consistent with the evaluation results of fuzzy extension analysis method and the actual investigation after blasting.
