摘　　要：广西的当代小说走过了60年的发展历程,业已成为中国当代文学的重要组成部分。60年来,经由本埠一代代作家的辛勤笔耕,以小说的形式绘就了区域文化的版图和各民族五彩斑斓的生活画卷,也极大地丰富了广西人的精神世界和人文内涵。活跃于各类小说中的人和事,艺术地再现了广西特有的世俗风情,在彰显作家们创作个性的同时,也开启了认识这方水土的一扇不可或缺的窗口,从而使得人们对广西的认知在不断地丰富和深化。如果单就作家个体的创作成果看,当代广西作家确有几位业已走出广西、在全国文坛占有了一席之地。如早期的陆地等人以其作品中散发的浓郁的民族特色和地域风情备受全国瞩目,之后的林白、鬼子、李冯、东西、凡一平等作家,各以其丰硕的创作成果和个性化的写作,引起了广泛的关注。就是本世纪走上文坛的一批青年作家,尽管他们有这样那样的不足,但他们富于才情,又勤于探索,表明广西当代作家薪火代传,创作前景光明。The contemporary novel of Guangxi has undergone a period of development for 60 years, and become an important component of China＇s contemporary literature. In the past 60 years, due to the hard work of local writers of Guangxi for generations, novels have written about the do main of the regional culture and the colorful life pictures of multiple ethnic groups, greatly enriching the spiritual world and humanity implication of Guangxi Peoples. The characters and events vividly described in the novels have artistically represented the special folk customs of Guangxi, opening an indispensable window for other people to widely and deeply know about this piece of land and water while presenting the writers＇ personality in writing. I.ooking from the writing achievements of indi- vidual writer, several writers of contemporary Guangxi have already gone out of Guangxi and occupied a certain place in the literary circle of China. While earlier writers such as I.u Di had attracted the attention of the nationwide readers with strong ethnic flavor and regional customs in their literary works, the later writers such as Lin Bai, Gui Zi, I.i Feng, Dong Xi, Fan Yiping and so on have got wide focus with their fruitful writing achievements and individual creation. Dong Xi and Gui Zi were respectively awarded Lu Nun Prize for I.iterature in 1997 and 2000. Even if some young writers just enter into the literary world in this new century, they are full of intellectual talent and preoccupied in exploration in spite of this or that shortcoming, which shows that the contemporary writers of Guangxi have found their successors and will have a bright future in writing.
