摘  要:介绍了PP材料应用于VRLA蓄电池壳的优点和缺点,针对缺点提出了解决方案和实例。对于PP电池壳强度小,易变形的问题,采用改性PP材料和结构优化2种方案,能明显减小形变量。对于PP端子的密封性问题,增加密封环和涂增塑剂均具有很好的效果。PP材料具有成本较低,水汽、氧气保持性好,塑性好的特点,运用在VRLA蓄电池壳具有一定的优势。The advantages and disadvantages of the VRLA battery containers with PP material are introduced in this paper, and some solutions and examples are provided for the disadvantages. For the problem of low strength and easy deformation, by using modified PP material and optimizing the structure of container, the deformation quantity can be reduced significantly. For the terminal sealing problem, increasing sealing rings and coating plasticizer have very good effect. Because of low cost, good water, vapor and oxygen retention, and good plasticity, PP material used for VRLA battery containers shows a promising future.
