摘  要:《美国新闻与世界报道》已连续30年对法学院进行排名,有其合理性,也成为校际竞争的"指挥棒",但测评标准单一、过于依赖法学院入学考试成绩等,在一定程度上制约了法学院多样性发展,引发较大争议,各界一直在谋求更为准确衡量法学院教育质量的指标体系。其探索与实践,对我国当下愈演愈烈的法学排名现象的启示是:学科排名较综合实力排名更为科学、富有建设性;排名为社会评价的客观需要,法学院应积极参与;建立多元排名体系,反映高等法学教育的全貌与特色;法学院应努力提升人才培养质量、加强信息公开;公众应理性对待排名,利用多途径主动获取所需资讯。The U. S. News has ranked law schools for 30 years. It has its rationality and has become the " baton" of competition among the U. S. law schools. But its evaluation standard is single,and it depends on the LSAT too much. To a certain extent,the diversity of law schools has been limited. This caused great controversy and all walks of life have been seeking a more accurate index system to measure the quality of education in the law schools.The exploration and practice in the U. S. has the enlightenment to our country in which the phenomenon of law schools ranking is becoming more and more intense. First, the ranking of disciplines is more scientific and constructive than that of comprehensive strength. Second, ranking is one of the objective social evaluation in the educational area, law schools should actively take part in it. Third, the multiple ranking system should be established to reflect the overall features of higher law education. Fourth, the school should try to improve the quality of legal training and enhance the information disclosure.Fifth, the public should treat the ranking rationally and use more ways to get information needed.
