摘　　要：在本年度《华尔街日报》/《泰晤士高等教育》大学排名评比中,哈佛大学再次荣登榜首,同样位于剑桥的麻省理工学院位居第二.从本年度排名前50的学校可以看出,学校提供良好教育的能力不在于规模大小.《华尔街日报》/《泰晤士高等教育》排名重点考察大学能否很好地帮助学生为毕业后的人生做准备.总排名全面考量15个因素,总体分为四大类：学生成就（衡量标准包括毕业生的薪资）在总分数中占到40%,学校的学术资源占30%,学生的参与度占20%,学生与教员的多元化程度占10%.本次排名以18.9万份学生调查问卷为基础,问题包括课程有没有挑战,教师是否经常鼓励学生将课堂所学应用到实践中,以及是否有机会与同学合作.Harvard University top this year’s Wall Street Journal/Times Higher Education College Rankings again, followed by its Cambridge neighbor, the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.The top 50 schools in this year’s rankings show that institutions small and large can deliver a great education. The WSJ/THE rankings emphasize how well a college will prepare students for life after graduation. The overall ranking is based on 15 factors across four categories： Forty percent of each school’s overall score comes from student outcomes, including a measure of graduate salaries, 30% from the school’s academic resources, 20% from how well it engages its students and 10% from the diversity of its students and staff.The rankings include 189,000 responses from students to survey questions including how challenging they fnd their classes, how often faculty encourage them to apply classroom instruction to the real world, and whether they have opportunities to collaborate with classmates.
