摘　　要：大城市人口的不断增多和聚集使城市面临着巨大的人口压力和土地紧缺等问题,对于城市原有街区的更新和改造是解决这些难题的重要途径。文章介绍了大连理工大学建筑与艺术学院和日本东京电机大学联合举办的"东京北千住历史街区再生设计"中日国际研究-设计工作坊中一个以中国传统合院形式的空间结构为基础原型对给定区域进行改造的设计,该改造项目是中国合院形式在城市街区可持续再生设计实践应用的一次尝试,对以后的相关研究与探索具有一定的参考价值。The increasing population and gathering of major cities have caused the city to face huge population pressure and shortage of land, Urban renewal and renovation of the original block is an important way to solve these problems.This paper introduces a design of ＂Japan Tokyo Kita-Senju renovation project＂,a China-Japan international research-design workshop, jointly organized by School of Architecture and Ar of Dalian University of Technology and Tokyo Denki University in Japan. The design is based on the spatial structure of the traditional Chinese courtyard form. The renovation project is believed to be an attempt to apply Chinese courtyard form to sustainable regeneration design practice in urban blocks. And it hasreference value to the related research and exploration in the future.
