溴代苯乙烯均聚物与共聚物对PBT阻燃作用的比较

摘　　要：通过极限氧指数(LOI)、垂直燃烧试验和锥形量热分析,研究了聚溴代苯乙烯均聚物(PBS)、溴代苯乙烯/甲基丙烯酸缩水甘油酯共聚物(BS-Co-GMA)、溴代苯乙烯/甲基丙烯酸甲酯共聚物(BS-Co-MMA)和溴代苯乙烯/丙烯酸乙酯共聚物(BS-Co-EA)对PBT的阻燃作用。结果表明,四种阻燃剂对PBT均有较好的阻燃作用,但PBS的阻燃作用优于三种共聚物。热稳定性分析表明,阻燃PBT的热稳定性较纯PBT的差,而BS-Co-GMA/Sb2O3对PBT的热稳性影响最小。加入溴代苯乙烯聚合物改善了PBT的加工性能,但降低了PBT的机械性能。三种共聚物对PBT加工性能的改善更明显,而PBS对机械性能的影响小于共聚物。共聚物的阻燃作用及对PBT的加工及机械性能的影响与共聚单体有关,BS-Co-GMA的综合性能最好。The flame retardancy of polybromostyrene（ PBS）,brominated styrene-glycidyl methacrylate copolymer（ BS-Co-GMA）,brominated styrene-methyl methacrylate copolymer（BS-Co-MMA） and brominated styrene-ethyl acrylate copolymer（BS-Co-EA） in polybutylene terephthalate（ PBT） were studied by limiting oxygen index（ LOI）,vertical combustion test and cone calorimetric test. The results showed that all four flame retardants had good flame retardant effect in PBT,but the flame retardant effect of PBS is the best. Thermal stability analysis showed that the thermal stability of flame retarded PBT is poorer than that of pure PBT,while BS-Co-GMA/Sb2 O3 has the least effect on the thermal stability of PBT. The addition of bromostyrene polymers improved the processing properties of PBT,but reduced the mechanical properties of PBT.Three copolymers improve more obviously the processing performance,while PBS has less effect on the mechanical properties than the copolymer. The flame retardant effect of copolymers and its effect on processing and mechanical properties of PBT are related to copolymeric monomers,and BS-Co-GMA has the best combination properties.
