摘　　要：城市历史空间环境作为承载人文与记忆的载体,伴随城市的发展,正面临着物质环境的破败和精神环境的衰落,空间环境缺乏人气,经济发展滞后,逐渐退居为城市的边缘化空间。新时期城市更新背景下,如何就城市中历史空间（文保单位或历史风貌留存区）的更新发展进行探索,能够传承历史文脉和实现环境与功能的再生,实现城市的有机更新。本文以南岳中正图书馆及周边环境的规划设计为例,探讨城市空间环境的更新及新功能的激活,创造新的空间环境的同时,结合旅游实现功能与产业的更新。With the development of the city,urban historical space environment,as the carrier of humanity and memory,is facing the deterioration of physical environment and spiritual environment,the lack of popularity in space environment,the lagging economic development. And retreat into the marginal space of the city gradually. Under the background of urban renewal in the new age, how to explore the renewal and development of urban historical space（cultural preservation unit or historical preservation area） could inherit the historical context, realize the regeneration of environment and function, and realize the organic renewal of the city.It discusses the renewal of urban space environment and the activation of new functions by taking the planned designing of Nanyue Zhongzheng library and its surrounding environment as an example in this article.Creates new space environment.Imple-ment the renewal of industry and function by combining with tourism.
