摘　　要：罗马军队是罗马帝国边疆行省经济开发的重要力量。帝国时期,大量军队集中驻扎莱茵河、多瑙河、不列颠等边疆地区,促进了当地农牧业和制造业的发展,有利于罗马特有的农业经营方式——维拉体系的传播。罗马军队在西班牙、不列颠等行省的矿产资源开发中也发挥了突出的作用。Roman army was an important tool for the economic development of roman frontier provinces. During the roman imperial period, a large amount of Roman army concentrated and stationed along the frontier areas of the Rhine, the Danube and Britain, which not only promoted the development of the local agriculture, husbandy and manufacture, but also encouraged the spread of the villa system which was a special roman agricultural management mode. Also, Roman army played a prominent role in the mineral exploitation in the frontier areas.
