中产阶层“不可统计”的生活经验——民族志书写城市的新路径和可能性

摘　　要：从中产阶级"不可统计"的生活经验,对基于中产阶级田野调查的成果进行密集化梳理,找到定量与田野调查之间可能构成联系的基点,从而展开民族志的论述。研究发现,住房空间私有化、自我管理以及中产阶级女性对母职的实践等三个因素,对中产阶级的形塑和认同起到不可分割的整合作用。个体差异化的体验、经历与客观阶层之间的互动关系,使中产阶级呈现出区别于其他阶层的集体惯习和文化旨趣。田野调查使中产阶级"不可统计"的生活经验走向纵深。I will recognize and confirm the value of ethnography further when Sociology and Anthropology confront the same research subject of middle class respectively through different methods:quantitative research and fieldwork.I collected the ethnographies accomplished in this research field and review present condition from the perspective of basis points linking quantitative research and fieldwork.I argue that there are three elements conforming and shaping the middle class and their identity:the movement and spread of private space,selfgovernance as the process of embodiment undertaken by membership of middle class groups,and the concept of motherhood practiced by middle class females.I will say these three aspects of social life compassing middle class could not be separated,for life is integral for different layers of individuals,community and association.With the interaction of individual sentiments/experiences and social stratification,there formed common cultural standards and collective habitus.As a system of dynamics,fieldwork has promoted the statistically undetectable living experiences of Chinese middle class into more variant dimensions.
