摘　　要："这就如同一个悖论,最早的花园诞生于美索不达米亚和埃及干燥的沙漠中,这些地方大自然看上去更具有敌意:荒漠完成了创造花园的奇迹几乎就如同希望看到了绽放。"意大利的园林史学家MariellaZoppi如是说。从这句话我们不仅可以看到关于园林起源在考古学方面的研究,更加值得我们关注和思考的是其背后蕴藏着的深意——即园林起源同人类社会物欲需求及精神追求的关系。＂This is like a paradox. The earliest gardens were born in the dry deserts of Mesopotamia and Egypt. These places look more hostile： the desert completes the miracle of creating gardens almost as if you want to see it＇ s blooming.＂ This is due to the garden historian MariellaZoppi in Italy. From this sentence, we can not only see the study of the origin of the garden in archaeology, but more worthy of our attention and thinking is the deep meaning behind it - the relationship between the origin of the garden and the material desire, spiritual pursuit of human society.
