简论滇越铁路的历史作用

摘　　要：滇越铁路是法国殖民者于1901年至1910年修建的一条从越南海防至中国昆明的铁路。这条具有被殖民耻辱的铁路,客观上曾发挥过重要的历史作用。它在政治上深刻烙上法国殖民色彩,同时也刺激和促进了中国民族主义的发展。它对云南的交通运输、对外贸易、文教卫生、城市布局乃至整体的近代化进程,都有过不小的影响;在抗日战争时期更发挥过重要的国际交通线作用。当然,它也影响着中、法、越的关系。它的影响和作用,应该好好审视。The Yunnan-Vietnam Railway, from Haiphong in Vietnam to Kunming in China, was built by French colonists from 1901to 1910. The railway, with its colonial humiliation, played an important role in history. It deeply marked French colonial politics, andalso stimulated and promoted the development of Chinese nationalism. It has had a great impact on Yunnan’s transportation, foreigntrade, culture, education and health, urban layout and even the whole modernization process. During the Anti-Japanese War, it played animportant role in international transportation. Of course, it also affects relations between China, France and Vietnam.
