This "Amazon Effect" will also lead to the birth of “superstar companies” and affect the competitive landscape of the banking industry, prompting companies to rely more on intangible asset investment. These effects will constrain or even distort the transmission of monetary policy to varying degrees. The central bank should make corresponding countermeasures as soon as possible.
