摘　　要：自治区民运会已举办了8届,从参赛规模、项目设置、社会影响力等方面逐步发展壮大。本文采用文献资料等方法,回顾历届新疆维吾尔自治区少数民族传统体育运动会的演变过程,分别从政治、经济、文化方面分析发展壮大的因素。探讨在党和国家政策的支持下办好少数民族体育赛事,对弘扬少数民族体育文化、促进民族团结、增强社会稳定具有重大意义,提出发展新疆少数民族传统体育事业要做好几方面的工作。The civil games in the autonomous region have been held for 8 times,whose scale of the participation,project setting,and social influence and so on gradually developed and strengthened. This article adopts the methods such as literature to review the evolution process of the traditional sports games of ethnic minorities in Xinjiang Uygur autonomous region. It is of great significance to promote the sports culture of ethnic minorities,promote national unity and strengthen social stability to explore how to run sports events for ethnic minorities under the support of the Party and state policies.
