Objective To investigate the effect of ultrasound knife assisted small incision thyroid surgery in the treatment of nodular goiter. Methods A total of 1136 patients with nodular goiter in our hospital from January 2014 to December 2017 were selected for discussion. All patients were randomly divided into two groups, 558 in the control group and 678 in the observation group. The control group used traditional thyroid surgery . For the treatment, the observation group was treated with ultrasonic scalpel assisted small incision thyroid surgery, and the therapeutic effects of the two groups were observed. The occurrence of complications and pain. Results The treatment effect of the observation group was better than that of the control group. The operation time, incision size and blood loss were less than that of the control group, and the incidence of complications in the observation group was 7.81%, and that in the control group was 15.05%. The incidence of the onset was also lower than that of the control group. The difference between the two groups was statistically significant(P 〈 0.05). Conclusion For patients with nodular goiter, ultrasonic scalpel assisted small incision thyroid surgery for treatment, can help patients relieve pain, reduce the occurrence of complications, promote prognosis, reduce the length of hospital stay. The amount of intraoperative bleeding is worthy to be used in the treatment of patients in the future.
