Paper books are the most important medium for college students to get knowledge. But several problems on handling and reusing of second-hand books still exists. On the one hand, it is difficult for supply side who are mostly graduates to sell books at reasonable prices in a short period of time and recover reasonable costs. On the other hand, the demand side who are mostly college students must tolerant high cost of purchasing books, moreover, there is a lack of regular and stable supply channels when seeking them. Based on the active second-hand book supply and demand market in colleges and universities, the problem of “information islands” caused by asymmetric trading information and the reality of large-scale waste of high-quality resources, it is extremely urgent to establish a campus second-hand book network platform.
