摘　　要：在日本国际著名服装设计师山本耀司的精神世界中,自由精神和工匠精神深度融合,由此形成他极具魅力的服装设计思想,可以概括为:在设计师与自我的关系上,将自我理解为自由,设计师的成长就是自由层次的不断深入;在服装与设计师的关系上,服装是设计师独特个性的表达;在服装与社会的关系上,服装是对人性自由平等的追求;在服装与材料的关系上,服装是对布料生命的尊重和升华。这些思想对于当代服装设计教育有积极的启发价值。Yohji Yamamoto is a famous international fashion designer in Japan. In his spiritual world, the spirit of freedom and the spirit of the craftsman were integrated in depth, thus forming his charming fashion design thought. His thought can be summarized as： In the relationship between the designer and the self, he understands the self as freedom, and the growth of the designer is the constant depth of the free level; In the relationship between the fashion and the designer, he thinks that the fashion is the expression of the unique personality of the designer; In the relationship between fashion and society, he thinks that fashion is the pursuit of freedom and equality of human nature; In the relationship between fashion and material, he thinks that fashion is the respect and sublimation of material life. His thought have a positive enlightening value for the contemporary fashion design education.
