钟嵘《诗品》在英语国家的转译呈现

摘　　要：目前汉语学界关于英语世界钟嵘《诗品》译介问题的研究尚处于起步阶段。虽然尤未见英语全译本出现,但已然存在三种《诗品序》英译及部分重要的零散英译材料。通过对《诗品》书名诸种英译的比对,可知其分为音译和意译两类。其中,＂诗＂的意译主要有＂诗作＂＂诗人＂＂诗歌成就＂这三种不同的侧重;而＂品＂则主要有＂品级-等级＂和＂品评-评价＂这两个维度的区别。另外,现存的三种《诗品序》英译各具特色,关于相应语言风格和错漏情况的初步分析,将为后续的深化研究奠定基础。The study on the translation of Zhong Rong＇s Shipin in English-speaking world in Chinese academia is still at the beginning. Although there are no complete English translations of Shipin,there are three English versions of the preface of Shipin and some important relevant partial translation materials. Based on the comparison among different English translations of the book＇s title ＂Shipin＂,those various translations can be divided into two types,i.e. transliteration and liberal translation. For liberal translation,those translations of＂shi＂mainly emphasize on three different aspects respectively,namely poetry,poet,and poetic attainment.Meanwhile,the liberal translations of ＂pin＂can be principally divided into two groups,that is class/grade/rank/categorization and evaluation/rate. In addition,those three English versions of the preface of Shipin have their own distinct characteristics. A brief study on such translation materials could help build a foundation for further relevant researches,which includes the analysis of linguistic style,mistakes and omissions.
