摘　　要：清华大学—西点军校双向交流项目是中美教育外交与军事外交领域的一个特色性高水平创新型国防人才培养项目。项目不仅提升了学生专业知识和技能,还培养了体现综合素质的全球胜任力,特别是外语、外国认知和跨文化交流能力。文章既是对这一项目中国学生和高校学习收获的总结和反思,也是对西点军校人才培养模式的考察及对我国高校国防人才培养创新的探讨,并在结论中提出军民融合模式下国防人才全球胜任力培养的政策建议。The student mobility program between Tsinghua University and the United States Military Academy （West Point） is successful innovation in Sino- US education diplomacy and military diplomacy. The program has not only advanced students＇ academic knowledge and skills in their specialized areas, but also strengthened holistic development through global competence education, especially in terms of capacity building in foreign language, foreign country and region studies and cross - cultural communication. This study evaluates program development and Chinese students＇ learning outcomes, and also investigates the characteristics of West Point education and explores its implications for innovating national defense education in civilian universities.
