摘　　要：中央工业试验所是民国时期最大的轻工业和化工工业科研机构,尤其在抗战时期为抗日大后方的物资供应作出了贡献。文中分析了该机构的筹建背景,论述了该机构的筹建过程,认为在南京国民政府初期,科学家在中央工业试验所筹建中起到了引领作用,但是国民政府内相关机构的互相推诿和财政支绌是筹建过程拖延的重要原因。The Central Industrial Test Institute（CITE） was the largest scientific research institute of light industry and chemical industry in the Republic of China, especially during the War of Resistance Against Japan, which contributed to the demand for military daily goods in the rear. This paper analyzed the background of the preparation for construction of this organization and discussed its preparatory process. It is believed that scientists played a leading role in the preparation of the Central Industrial Test Institute in the early days of the Nanjing National Government. However, the important reasons for the delay in the preparatory process were the mutual prevarication and a lack of financial support of the relevant institutions in the National Government of China.
