摘　　要：第二国际理论家为唯物史观在欧洲各国的传播和普及做出了重要贡献。为了反击修正主义和资产阶级对唯物史观的进攻,他们在自己理解的基础上对唯物史观的基本原理进行了论述,并把它应用于具体的研究领域。第二国际理论家们在反对庸俗的经济决定论方面捍卫了唯物史观,但同时又把唯物史观理解为一种无人的结构运动,陷入了机械决定论。The second international theorists have made important contributions to the spread and popularization of historical materialism in European countries.In order to counter the revisionism and the bourgeoisie＇s attack on historical materialism, they discussed the basic principles of historical materialism on the basis of their own understanding and applied it to specific research fields.The second international theorists defended the historical materialism in opposing the vulgar economic determinism, but at the same time understood the historical materialism as an unmanned structural movement and fell into mechanical determinism.
