摘　　要：介绍了国际统计界近年来迅速发展的投影寻踪技术及其方法与特点 ,指出这是适合环境质量评价的一种新兴统计方法。The projection pursuit technology was rapidly developed in international statistics field recently.The paper introduces the method and characteristics of projection pursuit technology,and then points out the projection pursuit is a new statistics method fits to environmental quality assessment.
