华南珠江三角洲水污染与水资源损失

摘　　要：珠江三角洲经济区是华南最具活力的经济发展地区。水资源可持续利用是该区发展的首要问题之一。本文根据水环境现状和污染源的分析,指出生活污水是该区当前最主要的污染源。作者首次提出了用于宏观评价水资源承载力和水环境可持续性的"水资源质量损失系数"和"水资源质量损失量"这两个概念,并据此预算了2002、2010和2020年珠江三角洲经济区水资源损失量分别达2.04、3.52和5.37亿m^3。文中指出必须有效地控制生活用水量和生活污水排放量,并应协调跨区水环境问题。The Pearl River Delta Economic Zone is the most dynamic economic area in South China. One of the major problems in the region is the sustainable utilization of the water resources. On the basis of analysis of the water environment status and pollution sources, it is suggested that domestic sewage is the primary cause of pollution. Two new concepts 'degradation coefficient' and 'degradation volume' of water resources, due to pollution, which may be used to assess macroscopically the carrying capacity of the water resources and sustainability of the water environment, are proposed by the authors. The results calculated indicate that the volumes of degraded water resources will be up to 204, 352, and 537 million m^3 in 2002, 2010, and 2020. It is suggested that water for daily consumption and domestic sewage must be controlled more effectively and there should be cross-regional coordination in tackling problems of water environment.
