摘　　要：空间元数据描述了地理信息中空间数据集的内容、质量、表示方式、空间参考、管理方式以及其它特征,有助于空间数据的理解、发现、定位、挖掘、评估和维护。分析了设计空间元数据的检索服务方法。Geospatial metadata is the background information which describes the content,quality,representation,spatial reference,management and other appropriate characteristics of spatial datasets.It is helpful for users to understand,discovery,locate,mine,evaluate and maintain these spatial data.The target of this paper is to design and develop the search/ retrieve methods of Geospatial metadata.
