单取代二茂铁西佛碱型液晶化合物的合成及介晶性研究  

Synthesis and Mesogenic Behavior Studies of Monosubstituted Ferrocene-containing Schiff Base Liquid Crystals

摘　　要：报道了两个系列二茂铁衍生物 ,FcC6H4 NCHC6H4 OCnH2n+ 1(系列Ⅰ )和FcC6H4 NCHC6H4 O2 CC6H4 OCnH2n + 1(系列Ⅱ ) (Fc:ferrocenyl;n =2 ,4,6 ,8,10 ,12 ,14,16 ) ,并通过DSC和热台偏光显微镜对其介晶性进行了研究 .系列Ⅰ不具有介晶性 ,系列Ⅱ呈较窄的液晶温度范围 .其结果显示分子的刚性部分长度对介晶性有重要影响 .Two series of ferrocene compounds with structure of Fc-C6H4-N=CH-C6H4-OCnH2n+1 (series I) and Fc-C6H4-N=CH-C6H4-O2C-C6H4-OCnH2n+1 (series II) (Fc: ferrocenyl; n = 2, 4, 6, 8, 10, 12, 14, 16) were prepared. Their mesogenic behaviors were studied with DSC and polarized optical microscopy. The results show that series I compounds do not possess liquid crystalline properties, while series 11 compounds have narrow liquid crystal temperature range. These results prove that the length of the rigid core in the molecule has an important effect on the mesogenic properties.
